Madeira Art Fair this Sunday on May 7 – my first outdoor show of 2017!!! The weather report says it will be cool and sunny. From 11 am to 5 pm on Miami Ave near Euclid Ave. This was a record breaking show for me in 2016… I’m hoping for another good one this year. I’ll be selling all my usual art – painted light switch covers, magnets, earrings and necklaces. Come check out my booth!

2016 ended up being my best year ever for art sales and fans of my art.  Thank you to all of those who have liked or purchased my work.

Spring 2017 is just around the corner.  The mild Cincinnati winter is leading to a warm and colorful Spring.

Coming up I have the Art On Vine show at Rhinegeist on Sunday February 19th from noon-7pm.  Looking at my future calendar, I might not have too many shows until April.  However, you can always check out and order my work on my Etsy.com website.

My next show is this weekend at the Essex Studios Art Walk on Friday December 2nd and Saturday December 3rd from 6-10pm.  Be sure to stop by the Art Walk and say hello.

Essex was the first venue that I started selling art about three years ago.  From what the organizers tell me this will be a huge show as it is the last one for the year.  There is always a wide variety of art to browse and choose from at the Art Walks either for gifts or for yourself.

This year has been a big year for me as an artist.  Thank you to all my fans and supporters.

I’m excited about my show this weekend at Pyramid Hill on Saturday September 24th and Sunday September 25th from 10am to 5pm.  There will be over 70 artists, music, food and family activities.  Plus it looks like a beautiful weekend.

It’s nice to have a show where I only have to set up my booth once for the entire weekend.  Also I love to visit Pyramid Hill any time of year to view the beautiful scenery and sculptures.  It’s a unique park that I recommend you check it out.

This photo was taken this week as I get ready for the show.  After I paint my plates with ink and let them dry, I always coat them with many layers of sealant so that they are durable and long-lasting.  To apply the sealant, I prop the plates up on sticks so that I can spray all sides of the plates at once.  The cart in the upper left of the image is the bottom of my portable spray booth where I coat the plates.

A shout out to Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park for highlighting my work on their facebook page. The 2016 Pyramid Hill Art Fair will be September 24th & 25th from 10 am to 5 pm. They are located on 1763 Hamilton Cleves Road / Route 128, a few miles south of Hamilton.

Also in September is the Westwood Art Show on the 10th and the Mariemont Art Fair on the 11th.

Madeira Art Fair

Spring is underway and this means outdoor shows. My first one this season was the Madeira Art Fair and next will be Art on Vine, Saturday, May 21^st in Washington Park.

Then on Sunday, June 12^th, I will be at the Trillium Art & Music Fair in Glenwood Gardens.
